Cleopatra’s   parents   had   abandoned   her   when   she   was   just   about   a   year   old   with her   maternal   grandmother.      Due   to   hard   living   conditions,   her   grandmother   could not provide for her basic needs, such as food, clothing, and proper care. Her   life   changed   when   some   local   leaders   visited   the   grandmother’s   family   and saw   the   hard   conditions   Cleopatra   was   living   in.   To   help   her,   social   welfare officers   were   informed   and   facilitated   her   smooth   transfer   to   Bethany   Family.     Today,   Cleopatra   lives   in   a   safe   and   loving   home.   She   receives   basic   needs, good care, and the support she needs to go to school and grow up healthy.
