brave
girl
from
Sengerema.
Her
life
was
very
hard
after
her
father
left
the
family
and
her
mother
suffered
from
mental
illness.
Debora
and
her
18months
old
sister
Glory,
were
left
to
be looked after by their grandfather.
Their
grandfather
was
very
old
and
could
not
afford
to
feed
them
or
provide
the
care
they
needed.
Therefore,
he
asked
the
Social
Welfare
Officers
for
help.
The
officers
first
took
them
to
a
center
in
Kamanga,
and
when
it
closed,
they
brought
the
sisters
to
Bethany
Family.
Today,
Debora is a happy girl and a supportive big sister to her sibling Glory and others around her.
